The Firearms Licensing Department are in the process of doing a 'Maildrop' to our current licence holders, this is regarding the recent publication of changes to the Home Office Statutory Guidance for the granting and renewal of certificates.
The changes to the Home Office Statutory Guidance also includes applications made prior to November 1st, 2021.
If you have already submitted a renewal application and are yet to receive your new licence you will need to complete the new medical form unless already done so by yourself (To download a medical form CLICK HERE). If you have already completed a new medical form then you can disregard the letter as we will be working on your application.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE LICENSING UNIT REGARDING THE ABOVE AS THIS WILL SLOW THE PROCESS DOWN.
