The advise for GP's to deprioritise providing medical information for firearms licensing while continuation of the vaccine roll-out takes place, has now ended.
Also in line with Government guidance, due to COVID-19 variant ‘Omicron’, staff from the Firearms Licensing Department will be working from home where possible. With these ongoing restrictions in place, there will be significant delays in processing Firearm and Shotgun certificates, along with GP letters being received.
